Day 1- North Shell Marina to Spring Garden Creek

First day out on the Shanty Boat. Quite the change from sailing the cold waters of Superior to the backwaters of the St. Johns River in Florida.  Got here about noon and finally got loaded and left around 2 pm or so.  Below is today's track.

Saw lots of wildlife.  One large gator, three other smaller ones swimming across the channel. Numerous osprey, some on the nest.  Blue Herons and other wild birds. I think I saw a manatee rolling in the water. Nothing else that size I know of and it was not a gator.  See pics below:
